The FormaVid Small Business Appliance is available for download as source code on GitHub. The latest version includes configuration options for Let's Encrypt free ssl certificates and BorgBackup as the deduplicating backup utility. More updates can be found in the FormaVid changelog. This is a "script only" based solution that installs and configures the desired packages for the "compatible base distro" of your choice. The scripts are bash and python based, well documented, easy to read, customizable, and even easy to remove/disable in most cases. So no hidden "monkey business" and you can choose your own "compatible base distro" based on your needs: familiarity; performance; security; usability; etc. The git repository is specifically aimed at the Google Compute Engine Debian image but runs on a base Debian distro as well. Other "compatible distros" may require modifying the scripts prior to running the install. Please help keep this available by donating below.
